Hands-On Social-Emotional Learning with LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®

Building social-emotional intelligence through play, specifically through LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® methods is situated at the intersection of hands-on thinking and reflection. Most of us became adept at using our hands long before we became proficient at communicating or naming our feeling, so by using them as the tool to build our newly forming ideas, we are thinking well beyond our years.

This session is for adults AND children. Please have your own legos available during the session. If you don’t already have one, you may buy a LEGO set here. If you don’t have LEGO, other blocks, PlayDoh, small toys, or even a bunch of random objects or items small enough to hold in your hands will do. While LEGO is preferred, we’ll play with whatever you’ve got as long as you remember to bring your imagination.
