About the Speaker: Sonia Dominguez

Sonia Dominguez is the Chief Program Officer at AVANCE, Inc., where she provides leadership and strategy for programming across the AVANCE network. A Head Start graduate, Sonia draws upon her lived experience and passion to improve opportunities for underserved communities through education. She earned a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in education from the University of Texas at El Paso and has dedicated the last twenty years to the field. Her work in education spans teaching in public schools to leading systems change efforts in education to improve student outcomes from cradle-to-career.
