About the Speaker:  Melanie Larkins

Melanie has over 30 years of experience in athletics as a player, referee, and coach, and over 25 years of practice in yoga, meditation, and martial arts. She integrates elements of meditation, yoga, martial arts, Reiki, body conditioning and music to help her clients harness the power of the mind to unlock the true potential of their bodies and reach peak performance. Melanie works mainly with athletes because she understands the challenges of balancing the mind and body to be a champion. She began in sports at age 8 as a competitive gymnast, perfecting her craft to become a state champion at age 12. As a teen, Melanie moved into yoga and meditation, dance, figure skating, basketball, track and field, horseback riding (Western, English, and vaulting), and lacrosse. She played Division I Lacrosse at UC Berkeley. In order to heal chronic pain and manage stress, Melanie learned how to put the mind into deep meditative states to play and live at an elite level. Melanie has developed her system of High-Performance Coaching over the last 20 years, and now teaches people in months what took her decades to synthesize. Melanie feels blessed to work with amazing clients around the world. She is a toddler mom, certified Yoga instructor (RYT 200 hr), Reiki Master, Thai Yoga Bodywork Practitioner, and has two MBAs in International Business. She is an expert in corporate sustainability, fluent in Spanish and Portuguese, and loves to change lives by showing people how to integrate the mind and bodies.
