About the Speaker: Shawn P Neal
Shawn is the founder of Saxus Leadership Development, Switch Point Development, and the OEQ Development process. He began his career as an audio engineer, mixing sound for over 200 national and international recording artists, 25 professional theatre productions, and corporate clients such as the Brickyard 400 (Indianapolis), Hyatt Regency, and Daimler-Chrysler. In 2004, he left the world of audio to pursue his career in consulting.
He has learned that through active listening and empathy, he can quickly assess a situation, identify behavior patterns and barriers, develop a strategy, and affect positive change. From banking to healthcare, Shawn has worked with clients in a myriad of industries. You can find him speaking, training, and developing people in the areas of emotional intelligence, happiness, and leadership. He has been developing the skills of emotional intelligence in leaders, teams, and organizations since 2012.
When not actively with a client, he spends time as a volunteer speaking to students in the JAG Program (Jobs for America’s Graduates) and mentoring students participating in the Young Entrepreneurs’ Academy. He also is a musician, nerd and an explorer who practices daily gratitude and mindfulness. You can find Shawn on all social media, including Linkedin by searching @shawnpneal
